يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿١﴾

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tuqaddimoo bayna yadayi Allahi warasoolihi waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun

مومنو! (کسی بات کے جواب میں) خدا اور اس کے رسول سے پہلے نہ بول اٹھا کرو اور خدا سے ڈرتے رہو۔ بےشک خدا سنتا جانتا ہے

O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ ﴿٢﴾

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tarfaAAoo aswatakum fawqa sawti alnnabiyyi wala tajharoo lahu bialqawli kajahri baAAdikum libaAAdin an tahbata aAAmalukum waantum la tashAAuroona

اے اہل ایمان! اپنی آوازیں پیغمبر کی آواز سے اونچی نہ کرو اور جس طرح آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے زور سے بولتے ہو (اس طرح) ان کے روبرو زور سے نہ بولا کرو (ایسا نہ ہو) کہ تمہارے اعمال ضائع ہوجائیں اور تم کو خبر بھی نہ ہو

O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَٰتَهُمْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمْتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿٣﴾

Inna allatheena yaghuddoona aswatahum AAinda rasooli Allahi olaika allatheena imtahana Allahu quloobahum lilttaqwa lahum maghfiratun waajrun AAa<i>th</i>eemun

جو لوگ پیغمبر خدا کے سامنے دبی آواز سے بولتے ہیں خدا نے ان کے دل تقویٰ کے لئے آزما لئے ہیں۔ ان کے لئے بخشش اور اجر عظیم ہے

Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah - they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness. For them is forgiveness and great reward.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلْحُجُرَٰتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Inna allatheena yunadoonaka min warai alhujurati aktharuhum la yaAAqiloona

جو لوگ تم کو حجروں کے باہر سے آواز دیتے ہیں ان میں اکثر بےعقل ہیں

Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason.

وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٥﴾

Walaw annahum sabaroo hatta takhruja ilayhim lakana khayran lahum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

اور اگر وہ صبر کئے رہتے یہاں تک کہ تم خود نکل کر ان کے پاس آتے تو یہ ان کے لئے بہتر تھا۔ اور خدا تو بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ أَن تُصِيبُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَٰدِمِينَ ﴿٦﴾

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in jaakum fasiqun binabain fatabayyanoo an tuseeboo qawman bijahalatin fatusbihoo AAala ma faAAaltum nadimeena

مومنو! اگر کوئی بدکردار تمہارے پاس کوئی خبر لے کر آئے تو خوب تحقیق کرلیا کرو (مبادا) کہ کسی قوم کو نادانی سے نقصان پہنچا دو۔ پھر تم کو اپنے کئے پر نادم ہونا پڑے

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِى كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْإِيمَٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكُفْرَ وَٱلْفُسُوقَ وَٱلْعِصْيَانَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ ﴿٧﴾

WaiAAlamoo anna feekum rasoola Allahi law yuteeAAukum fee katheerin mina alamri laAAanittum walakinna Allaha habbaba ilaykumu aleemana wazayyanahu fee quloobikum wakarraha ilaykumu alkufra waalfusooqa waalAAisyana olaika humu alrrashidoona

اور جان رکھو کہ تم میں خدا کے پیغمبرﷺ ہیں۔ اگر بہت سی باتوں میں وہ تمہارا کہا مان لیا کریں تو تم مشکل میں پڑ جاؤ لیکن خدا نے تم کو ایمان عزیز بنا دیا اور اس کو تمہارے دلوں میں سجا دیا اور کفر اور گناہ اور نافرمانی سے تم کو بیزار کردیا۔ یہی لوگ راہ ہدایت پر ہیں

And know that among you is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided.

فَضْلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَنِعْمَةً وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿٨﴾

Fadlan mina Allahi waniAAmatan waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

(یعنی) خدا کے فضل اور احسان سے۔ اور خدا جاننے والا (اور) حکمت والا ہے

[It is] as bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِنۢ بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِى تَبْغِى حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِن فَآءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ ﴿٩﴾

Wain taifatani mina almumineena iqtataloo faaslihoo baynahuma fain baghat ihdahuma AAala alokhra faqatiloo allatee tabghee hatta tafeea ila amri Allahi fain faat faaslihoo baynahuma bialAAadli waaqsitoo inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteena

اور اگر مومنوں میں سے کوئی دو فریق آپس میں لڑ پڑیں تو ان میں صلح کرا دو۔ اور اگر ایک فریق دوسرے پر زیادتی کرے تو زیادتی کرنے والے سے لڑو یہاں تک کہ وہ خدا کے حکم کی طرف رجوع لائے۔ پس جب وہ رجوع لائے تو وہ دونوں فریق میں مساوات کے ساتھ صلح کرا دو اور انصاف سے کام لو۔ کہ خدا انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے

And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

Innama almuminoona ikhwatun faaslihoo bayna akhawaykum waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona

مومن تو آپس میں بھائی بھائی ہیں۔ تو اپنے دو بھائیوں میں صلح کرادیا کرو۔ اور خدا سے ڈرتے رہو تاکہ تم پر رحمت کی جائے

The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا۟ بِٱلْأَلْقَٰبِ بِئْسَ ٱلِٱسْمُ ٱلْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la yaskhar qawmun min qawmin AAasa an yakoonoo khayran minhum wala nisaon min nisain AAasa an yakunna khayran minhunna wala talmizoo anfusakum wala tanabazoo bialalqabi bisa alismu alfusooqu baAAda aleemani waman lam yatub faolaika humu al<i>thth</i>alimoona

مومنو! کوئی قوم کسی قوم سے تمسخر نہ کرے ممکن ہے کہ وہ لوگ ان سے بہتر ہوں اور نہ عورتیں عورتوں سے (تمسخر کریں) ممکن ہے کہ وہ ان سے اچھی ہوں۔ اور اپنے (مومن بھائی) کو عیب نہ لگاؤ اور نہ ایک دوسرے کا برا نام رکھو۔ ایمان لانے کے بعد برا نام (رکھنا) گناہ ہے۔ اور جو توبہ نہ کریں وہ ظالم ہیں

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿١٢﴾

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ijtaniboo katheeran mina al<i>thth</i>anni inna baAAda al<i>thth</i>anni ithmun wala tajassasoo wala yaghtab baAAdukum baAAdan ayuhibbu ahadukum an yakula lahma akheehi maytan fakarihtumoohu waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha tawwabun raheemun

اے اہل ایمان! بہت گمان کرنے سے احتراز کرو کہ بعض گمان گناہ ہیں۔ اور ایک دوسرے کے حال کا تجسس نہ کیا کرو اور نہ کوئی کسی کی غیبت کرے۔ کیا تم میں سے کوئی اس بات کو پسند کرے گا کہ اپنے مرے ہوئے بھائی کا گوشت کھائے؟ اس سے تو تم ضرور نفرت کرو گے۔ (تو غیبت نہ کرو) اور خدا کا ڈر رکھو بےشک خدا توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان ہے

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتْقَىٰكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ ﴿١٣﴾

Ya ayyuha alnnasu inna khalaqnakum min thakarin waontha wajaAAalnakum shuAAooban waqabaila litaAAarafoo inna akramakum AAinda Allahi atqakum inna Allaha AAaleemun khabeerun

لوگو! ہم نے تم کو ایک مرد اور ایک عورت سے پیدا کیا اور تمہاری قومیں اور قبیلے بنائے۔ تاکہ ایک دوسرے کو شناخت کرو۔ اور خدا کے نزدیک تم میں زیادہ عزت والا وہ ہے جو زیادہ پرہیزگار ہے۔ بےشک خدا سب کچھ جاننے والا (اور) سب سے خبردار ہے

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

قَالَتِ ٱلْأَعْرَابُ ءَامَنَّا قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَلَٰكِن قُولُوٓا۟ أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَٰلِكُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿١٤﴾

Qalati alaAArabu amanna qul lam tuminoo walakin qooloo aslamna walamma yadkhuli aleemanu fee quloobikum wain tuteeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu la yalitkum min aAAmalikum shayan inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

دیہاتی کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لے آئے۔ کہہ دو کہ تم ایمان نہیں لائے (بلکہ یوں) کہو کہ ہم اسلام لائے ہیں اور ایمان تو ہنوز تمہارے دلوں میں داخل ہی نہیں ہوا۔ اور تم خدا اور اس کے رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرو گے تو خدا تمہارے اعمال سے کچھ کم نہیں کرے گا۔ بےشک خدا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

Innama almuminoona allatheena amanoo biAllahi warasoolihi thumma lam yartaboo wajahadoo biamwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi olaika humu alssadiqoona

مومن تو وہ ہیں جو خدا اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے پھر شک میں نہ پڑے اور خدا کی راہ میں مال اور جان سے لڑے۔ یہی لوگ (ایمان کے) سچے ہیں

The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful.

قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿١٦﴾

Qul atuAAallimoona Allaha bideenikum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

ان سے کہو کیا تم خدا کو اپنی دینداری جتلاتے ہو۔ اور خدا تو آسمانوں اور زمین کی سب چیزوں سے واقف ہے۔ اور خدا ہر شے کو جانتا ہے

Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things?"

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَٰمَكُم بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴿١٧﴾

Yamunnoona AAalayka an aslamoo qul la tamunnoo AAalayya islamakum bali Allahu yamunnu AAalaykum an hadakum lileemani in kuntum sadiqeena

یہ لوگ تم پر احسان رکھتے ہیں کہ مسلمان ہوگئے ہیں۔ کہہ دو کہ اپنے مسلمان ہونے کا مجھ پر احسان نہ رکھو۔ بلکہ خدا تم پر احسان رکھتا ہے کہ اس نے تمہیں ایمان کا رستہ دکھایا بشرطیکہ تم سچے (مسلمان) ہو

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Inna Allaha yaAAlamu ghayba alssamawati waalardi waAllahu baseerun bima taAAmaloona

بےشک خدا آسمانوں اور زمین کی پوشیدہ باتوں کو جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اسے دیکھتا ہے

Indeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
